Hospital Parking Charges can be emotive issue on TWO fronts:

• Paying for parking at all
• penalties for over staying through no fault of the patient.

When recently attending the Barnet hospital site, even the hospital clinic staff did not understand either what to do or what to tell the patient what to do to avoid a penalty if the out-patient clinic ran late. The answer is in the small print:

Parking time must be purchased on arrival. If you exceed the amount of time purchased you can pay for additional parking time until midnight on the day of departure.
