Many of you will have noticed that the Leylandii surrounding the Mushroom House in Woodside Park has been cut back - and the garden tidied - this is just one of the improvements underway in Woodside Park: Here is a message from the Friends of Woodside Park asking residents to have their say on park improvements.

As many of you know, Groundwork, in conjunction with Haringey Council, are raising funds to make improvements to our local open space, Woodside Park

In a previous questionnaire, residents prioritised the need for improvements to the Braille Garden (on the corner of Woodside Road and the High Road) and for additional play facilities.

Draft plans are now available for changes to the Braille Garden and the under 8s playground behind Woodside House.

These are attached below for you to look at, together with a second questionnaire which you can complete and return to: claire.baldock@groundwork.org.uk

If you prefer you can also print the questionnaire and post to:

I only noticed that the Braille Garden is meant to be a Braille Garden walking through it today and reading the gate sign. I then went looking for some braille but couldn't find any! Glad to see these plans. Hope they come to fruition. They will make that entrance friendlier and provide fewer opportunities for peeing in public.
