IVY-MANTLED TOWER

A history of the church and churchyard of St Mary Hornsey, Middlesex

Bridget Cherry OBE, FSA, Hon FRIBA, an architectural historian who edited the Pevsner Architectural Guides series and co-wrote several (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridget_Cherry) has a new book being published by Hornsey Historical Society, of which she is a Vice President.

Some of you may know her from her excellent guided walks around Hornsey Churchyard.

Bridget is writing a meticulously researched and lavishly illustrated hard back book on the story of the succession of church buildings which formed a significant focus for local society in the centre of the village of Hornsey over 500 years.

The Hornsey Historical Society, as a small, non profit making charity with little resources is seeking financial support to publish this endeavour by offering the opportunity to subscribe prior to publication.

For a minimum £25 subscription (added donations are also very welcome) your name will be added to the subscribers list in the book and you will receive a copy as soon as it is available.

Please look at the subscription form and if you can, please subscribe.

N.B. The list of subscribers closes Friday 1st May 2015.
