At the meeting on the 13th about the website people suggested a Lauch 'party' 'event' of some sort.
Following from the various suggestions.... what about.

A Bowes and Bounds Connecting Day.

4.00-5.45  at 128 Myddleton Rd.   Tea and cakes and chat and meet people - especially designed for families and elderly. 

then at 5.45   Connection Walk 1   to The Prince - pub -, Trinity Road

Venue 2.   The Prince
6.00 - 7.45   Drink, Eat wonderful Thai food if you wish, and more chat and meet more people.
Especially for those at this end of the B&BC area, Commerce and Partridge Way people, the ladder roads to the back path, Finsbury Gardens area people etc.  I have spoken to Samir, one of the managers at The Prince and he would be happy to see B&BC there.  I have checked out availability for Saturday Nov 13 and that would be fine.

then at 7.45  Connection Walk 2  to the Ranelagh pub, Bounds Green Rd

8 - whenever,  Drink, eat, chat, meet new people
Especially for  those at this end of the B&BC area, BGDRA, Bowes West, etc.

At each venue we should have some way of people viewing the website.. have we got a large screen?  I have a portable projector screen which could be used but would need some sort of projector... I am NOT a techie.

What would we have to do to make this happen?

decide on a date.
two or three people to make cakes etc for 128. Have already got 2 volunteers.
check OK at Ranelagh
ADVERTISE and invite all and sundry to come along!!
anything I have forgotten?????

Best on a Saturday.
Sat Oct 30th would clash with Barn Dance at Tennis club
Sat Nov 6th is when lots of people have fireworks.
So Sat Nov 13th seems OK.
