Launch of All Good Bookshop in Wood Green, Saturday 11th May

All Good Bookshop Launch - Saturday 11th May 2.00pm to 4.00pm at Council Chambers, Haringey Civic Centre

It is our immense pleasure to announce the launch of a very special project in our local area, with the creation of the All Good Bookshop.

Through the All Good Bookshop Project we, a group of local residents, are on a mission to bring a community-owned bookshop and much-needed community space back to Wood Green/Turnpike Lane. The All Good Bookshop will be a co-operative enterprise that is owned entirely by members of our local community who invest their time or money. We will work together to create a community hub where residents can come together, discover great books, attend events, meet neighbours and share ideas in a welcoming and affordable bookshop and community space.

We are currently looking to find the right location, as well as to secure funding and set ourselves up for trading. For the shop to be a success, however, we need the support of the people we are doing this for – and that means you! If you, like us, don’t want to live in a community that doesn’t have a bookshop at its heart, please come along to the launch of the business at 2pm on Saturday 11th May at Haringey Civic Centre, or email control@allgoodbookshop.com to find out more and be kept up to date on developments.
