Has anyone else seen the "Legal Notice" stuck to a telegraph pole in Queens Road about the unneutered feral cat (probably a tom is my my guess) who has been attacking other cats? It says if no one comes forward to claim him in the next 3 weeks he'll be trapped & neutered.

As a cat lover I believe it's important to have cats neutered or spayed (as they tend to be highly promiscuous!) & I gather this cat is particularly aggressive. But my only concern was that (presuming it is the council who have put the notice up) that, being a council, they don't get some bunch of cowboys to do the trapping & hurt the cat in the process. Does anyone in Herbert Rd or Richmond Rd know anything about this??
