A New School for Enfield

The Lime Trust proposal now agreed by the DfE is to open a new 3 Form Entry (90 children per year group) primary school with nursery, which we hope will be ready to open in September 2018. We will be holding a number of  community information events over the Summer and Autumn 2017, please sign up to our mailing list to receive news and updates.

Lime Academy Ridgeway will be sited in the Ridgeway/Chase area of Enfield where there is a real shortage of primary school places now – and the need for a new school will grow when families move into new homes on the Chase Farm Hospital site.

A report to Enfield Council’s Cabinet on the 21st October 2015 confirmed a deficit of primary school places in the area that cannot be met by expanding existing local schools, and a designated site has been made available for a new school.
