For those of you who have had children at St Martin of Porres School, Blake Road....

Ms Tyrell has been headteacher for many (30?) years and in that time has taken so many children from reception through to preparation for secondary. I've met quite a few people locally who have fond memories of their time/their children's time at the school so I thought I'd share the fact that she retires at the end of the school year. Her commitment to the community and the children has been wonderful.

There is of course a thank you collection at the school, should anyone like to contribute.
