I'm only just catching up with this but Haringey Council is looking at various measures to enable social distancing into the future/cut down on rat running/increase the number of cycle routes etc and in an effort to canvass opinion has launched an interactive Commonplace map

There are also low traffic campaigning groups forming - Alexandra Park Low Traffic Group is holding their first Zoom meeting at some point week commencing Wednesday 17th June.

Residents of Brownlow/Warwick and the surrounding roads are campaigning for Bounds Green to become a low traffic neighbourhood - details here on the Palmers Green Community website

It is worth noting that as Annabel on APNeighbours points out any measures need to be part of an integrated scheme that balances positive and negative effects on different areas.

Hi Deidre,

Yes, I think more cycle routes and slower and less traffic would be a great idea locally.

Cathy Herman has mentioned that this could be done on Myddleton Road: http://www.bowesandbounds.org/forum/topics/haringey-parking-permits...

Are there are other streets that you think could benefit from this?

Hi Daniel,

Yes I'm sure all streets could benefit from lower levels of traffic. I think one of the few benefits of the lockdown was complete absence of traffic and a lot of people have enjoyed that.

I suppose my point in posting the links was to make sure that everyone in Bowes Park or least on B&B knows what's going on.  It maybe that people do know but that it's just that there's nothing posted on B&B.

Post-Covid there is an opportunity to try to reassess different aspects of how we live. If there is an across-the-board rethink about how we travel, we need to know what the areas surrounding us are doing and work in conjunction with them.
