The 33rd Annual Southgate Green May Fair organised by Christ Church was held Monday May 2nd. It's just a short bus ride away up towards Southgate but it has a very different feel to it. It's always a fun day out and with the continuing warm spring weather it was a really pleasant end to the recent run of Bank Holidays.

One of the distinctive things about this community event is that it feels like an old-style village fair  - the setting and the traditional features of Maypole Dancing and the crowning of the Queen of the May add to the ambiance.
