Last night I witnessed the attempted theft of a mobile phone on a Piccadilly Line train. The thief tried to grab someone's phone as he passed her to get off the train. He didn't get the phone but was able to escape as the train was in a station and the doors were open. I reported the incident to the British Transport police and was told this has been happening recently particularly on the Piccadilly Line. They'll look into this incident using CCTV footage, but I was warned to take care using mobile phones on the Pic Line especially when the train stops at a station.  Just thought I'd pass this warning on - hope it helps to keep you and your phones safe.
