There are already around 7 or 8 spaces to pay and park at the top of Manor Road which are always nearly empty.

It's often bad enough for me to find a space even on a residents parking permit without more allocated spaces been given up for pay by phone

I've objected to this Manor Road proposal. As you say, the pay-by-phone bays are seldom full during CPZ hours and excluding residents from them (i.e. pay-by-phone only) will increase pressure on the remaining residents' bays – and I don't think the increase in off-street parking on Whittington Road is helping.

The Haringey proposal page does not contain details of this proposal, but you can object directly by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk.

Well said Jules.

I've emailed them twice with my objection but never received an acknowledgement
