A woman I know through the Haringey Over 50s Forum would like to sell a wheelchair.  It's new and never been used.  It cost her £700 and she's looking for a reasonable offer.  I don't know why the wheelchair has never been used or why she is selling it.

Here is a description of the wheelchair.

The wheelchair is a Sunfire General and is ideal for users who require both performance and comfort. This power chair has a maximum speed of 4 miles per hour and has a range of 20 miles on a full battery depending on the weight of the user and the terrain.  The power comes from two large rear wheels that are driven by powerful 450w motors. These large motors allow the Sunfire General to have a weight capacity of 180kg (28 stone).  The 18 inch wide padded seat reclines and is height adjustable to suit the user requirements.  The headrest is also adjustable and removable.  The wheelchair has innovative one-touch height adjustable armrests that are also angle adjustable and flip up to help facilitate transfers.  As the wheelchair is designed for indoor and outdoor use, it has an articulating front beam which enables easy use over gradients and uneven surfaces.  It also has a large padded seat for additional comfort.

If you are interested, please get in contact and I will pass Margaret's number on to you.
