Thank you to the gentleman in the Red Sea supermarket for hunting down a bottle of pomegranate molasses!  It was one of those things mentioned in a recipe that I thought I'd probably have to do without, but I should have known it would be available round here.  I also found mulberry molasses, which sounds intriguing!  (anyone know what that's used for?)

I also bought a load of fruit and veg which was quite a lot cheaper than the supermarket.  Definitely worth trying to shop for food on Myddleton Road - amazing what you can find!  A win-win way to support our local businesses.

Hoorah for Red Sea. I have to ask, what were you making that required pomegranate molasses? Hope it was delicious.

Londis and Ayta both stock a range of veggie food in the freezer, which is great. I'd much rather buy it on Myddleton Road than in Tesco.

thanks for that!  I will definitely pay a visit with my shopping trolley this weekend! :)  I found a recipe for duck with mulberry molasses on the internet: http://www.sbs.com.au/food/recipes/roast-duck-mulberry-molasses-and...
