A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the four refurbished shopfronts on Myddleton Road took place on Saturday. The long running project, coordinated by Bowes Park Community Association was supported by English Heritage with matched funding from Haringey Council,  and local traders. The shops that have been refurbished are fashion designers at 123 Myddleton Road, Andy’s Dry Cleaners at 124 and the Pro Cancer Research Fund at 126.

Alongside the ribbon cutting ceremony a "cash mob" event supported local independent traders on Myddleton Road with around 50 people each committing to spend £10 on the street.

The refurbishment of the shop fronts was featured in the London Borough of Haringey magazine "Haringey People" with a double page spread; see below (click to enlarge) or read the full magazine on the LB Haringey Website (PDF 4MB).
