Thames Water will be temporarily closing the New River Path between Myddleton and Whittington Roads so that their contractor Barhale can clean out the Tunnel. They do this every 10 years apparently.

The path will be closed on July 17^th until the start of October.  The Myddleton Road Green Gym will also be closed during this time.

It is a shame that it will be closed for the summer, but London needs to have clean and safe water, and the bats that live in the tunnel will be on vacation over the summer.
