Noise on Myddleton Road (Saturday night)

Hello everyone.

We'd like to apologise for the noise on Myddleton Road late Saturday night, outside Lucas Bros.

Our glass shop front was smashed due to a drunken brawl outside the shop (by two idiots!). For health and safety reasons we had to have the shop boarded up, and glass cleared from the pavement ASAP.

We apologise for the noise and inconvenience caused. Open as usual on Monday.

We live at the top of Myddleton road on Whittington and it was a pretty scary night. My husband went out to help the guy who was bleeding but the guy ran off. Then police and ambulance arrived. Do we know where they came from? I have a three week old baby and a toddler and we were really scared because they were throwing bottles etc from peoples recycling bins. A real shame because we'd had a lovely summer solstice party ourselves.

Hi Cathryn,

We're waiting on CCTV footage and more information from the police. The injured guy was found by police and taken to hospital.

I don't know any more information at the moment but all I know is my shop front is badly damaged!!

I hope you and your family weren't badly shaken and let's not let this out of the ordinary incident put doubts that our neighborhood is a safe place.
