An article in the Guardian a couple of weeks ago pointed out the growing number of local websites emerging around Muswell Hill. (link to article)

It's great to see the growth of new local community sites. As the article (and comments) point out there are many types of site - some focussed on local business, some with a commuity feel - some with a single author and others (like this site) that encourage wider contributions to discussions via a forum.

A list of all the Hyperlocal sites across the UK can be found on the Openly Local Website - in addition to the Muswell Hill sites listed in the article here are a few favourite neighbouring sites which engage with local residents:
