Official figures show people live longer in Enfield than Haringey

A recent Press Release fron Haringey Trades Council has shown that the the average age of life expectancy for men in Haringey is 76.6 years, while just across the North Circular men on average can expect to live an additional two and a half years longer to age 79.1.

Women generally live longer than men - but there is no significant difference between our two neighbouring boroughs in female life expectancy.

The biggest difference appears to be when these local life-expectancy figures are compared with the most affluent parts of the capital ... in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea  male life expectancy is 84.4 years.
