Just seven days to go until the Olympics opening ceremony - however I've already noticed more people around on my London commute this week... and it looks like its going to get more difficult to move around town in the forthcoming days.

Whilst we should be OK getting on the Tube at Wood Green or Bounds Green TfL's own calculations estimate for example that passengers starting their journey at King's Cross might experience a wait of more that half an hour at certain times of day unless people  change their travel plans.

There has been a lot of coverage about the Olympic Lanes on London's Roads. We are far enough out of the centre of London to avoid too much disruption -  apart from the Enfield / Haringey leg of the torch relay next Wednesday) There may be a bit more traffic on the North Circular before and after football matches at Wembley, but if you are driving around other parts of town the short film below explains how the special Olympic Lanes will operate.
