Over 60s Cinema Club: KINDS OF KINDNESS, Tue 2 July, 12:30pm, Finsbury Park PictureHouse

Cinema Club for the over 60s

The next offering is the film KINDS OF KINDNESS at the Finsbury Park PictureHouse at 12:30pm on Tuesday 2 July. The cost is £7.60.If you’re coming for the first time, you’ll have to join the PictureHouse’s Silver Screen programme but it’s free and painless to sign up. This film is just over 2hours 45 mins long. So, it should finish around 4pm when you add on the trailers.

***PLEASE NOTE***
The Cinema Club will be moving to the first Thursday of the month starting in August.  So August 1.
That way we can use the Member’s Lounge again. It’s now only open Thru, Fri and Sat.

The choice of films has been slim recently because of the Hollywood writer’s strike so the staff at the Picture House has told me.  They said it should get better in September.

Here is the synopsis of the film:

KINDS OF KINDNESS is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.

It stars the two-time Academy Award winner for Best Actress Emma Stone.
