A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
The Palmers Greenery in Broomfield Park is finally open
Wednesdays and Weekends (10am- 4.30pm)
This long awaited Community Cafe in Broomfield Park is a social enterprise that uses good quality, often locally-sourced, seasonal and home-made food and profits are directly reinvested back into Broomfield Park for the benefit of the whole community. Volunteers are at the heart of the project which depends on the skills energy and commitment of local people who contribute their time for free- ask about how you could get involved and help realise the ambition.
The new cafe takes its environmental responsibilities seriously. Litter food waste, take-out cups and napkins (which are all bio-degradable) will be composted.
Palmers Greenery is not simply a Cafe it has aspirations - and the potential - to be be a centre where the local community can connect and come together across the community, between the generations and provide support to our vulnerable neighbours.
Do go along and support this new initiative
Wednesdays and Weekends (10am- 4.30pm)
