Hi I am sure most of you have seen, if not been in our local charity shop On Green Lanes just before the north circular. I am a volunteer in the shop and thought it would be a good idea to update local people about what we have in stock and any events that are planned.

Firstly let me tell you a little about the charity, it is called PCRF (pro cancer research fund) it supports the work of professor Djamgoz at Imperial College London where they are researching  and raising awareness into prostrate and breast cancer. They are researching  both the early detection in a non-invasive way, treating the cancers and in improving the prognosis of the disease. The results so far are very promising.

The shop has a good stock of winter coats and boots at the moment as well as a good variety of clothes, shoes, books and bric a brac at very reasonable prices. We have very kindly been  donated a large number of new cushion covers which would brighten up any sofa.

We are always looking for donations and would love in particular Mens shoes, ladies handbags and toys and games, but we would welcome any donations.

New volunteers are always welcome, just pop in for a chat if you are interested.
