A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
Ping! is an innovative three year street ping-pong project which provides people with opportunities to play social and competitive table tennis, free of charge.
It began in the run up to the Olympics and it’s coming back this summer. London is one of 11 cities across the U.K. where ping-pong tables will be popping-up between 15th July to 31st August.
However in Bowes Park we don’t have to wait … our table is already installed and ready to use in the Green Gym area in Myddleton Road! The aim of Ping is to get as many people as possible across the whole of the UK playing table tennis - and playing sport generally - whilst bringing about a sense of community spirit – something we have loads of locally!
Have a look at this fun little video below which gives some of the background to the Ping! Project.
Or find out more at the Ping! Website.
