Starting on the 12th July at Tha Asian Centre in Wood Green we will be holding 10 pottery sessions which will lead to an exhibiion of work at The National Archives in Kew. The aim of these sessions is to explore the experience of the Asians that were thrown out of Uganda by the regime of Idi Amin. This year marks the 40th Anniversary of that exodus. In the sessions we will explore narrative, trditional motifs and spatial sculpture relating to this experience.
