Do Not be too desperate to hand in ALL your round one pound coins as:

• Not all Tesco trolleys have been converted to use the 12 sided coin
• Not all Sainsbury trolleys have been converted to use the 12 sides coin
• Many ticket machines operated by Govia Thameslink Railway, which runs Southern, Great Northern, Gatwick Express and Thameslink, are still not ready for the change.
• Transport for London said some of the ticket machines on its Overground and tram services were unlikely to be ready for the new £1 coin until the end of the year**

Poundland and Tesco are committed to accepting the round £1 coin until the end of October and charity collections will welcome any donations
