Coming out of the rail station yesterday afternoon I was handed a leaflet by a man from the British Transport Police. The leaflet (which I gave back, or I'd post a picture) says that the police are looking for witnesses to an incident on the platform around 2.30pm on Wednesday April 24th.

It said that a woman was on the platform with two young children and was racially abused and intimidated by a small group of young men to the point that she feared for her and her children's safety.

How horrible, I hope this is just an isolated thing and the woman and kids are doing ok. Did anyone see this, or know anyone else who might have been catching the train around that time? Can you spread the word that the police are looking for witnesses?
