Restoring old fireplaces - any recommendations?

As the nights grow longer and winter approaches, our thoughts turn to lighting a (smokeless) coal fire!

However, our Edwardian fireplace needs a lot of work to make it usable, does anyone know of anyone who could repair and restore it?
