Our Ref: LUL/14/2
16th March 2016
Dear Colleague,
BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, PICCADILLY LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND
Further to my letter dated 9th March, all RMT Train Operator members on the Piccadilly Line will be aware of the three forthcoming rounds of strike action in this dispute. This matter has now been considered again by the National Executive Committee which has added the instruction for all affected members NOT TO BOOK ON AT OAKWOOD from 00:01 hours on Friday 25th March 2016, until further notice. Members should instead book on with the Duty Train Staff Manager (DTSM) at Ash House, Arnos Grove Depot, in line with proper procedures.
NB: To comply with legal advice the above instruction is suspended for the duration of the strike action commencing on Tuesday 19th April and Thursday 21st April but will commence again immediately after each strike ends and continuously from 12:00 hours on Friday 22nd April 2016.
The Company has now agreed that talks can take place at ACAS over the many serious issues affecting you and your colleagues and I will of course keep you advised of all further developments.
SUPPORT THE ACTION
STAND FIRM TOGETHER – UNITY IS STRENGTH
Yours sincerely
Mick Cash
General Secretary
