Route 329 and N29 on nightly Diversion from 29th August (four nights)

Sourced from Palmers Green Community Newsletter (17th August, as amended)

As part of the Cycle Enfield works, Green Lanes will be closed between Hedge Lane and Hazelwood Lane overnight for four nights, commencing on Saturday 29th August.  The closures will be from 8pm to 6am and will allow resurfacing of the main carriageway.  The noisiest work will be carried out up to midnight.  There will be no access to Green Lanes from Osborne Road, Windsor Road, Park Avenue and Fox Lane during the overnight closures.

Consequentially Bus Route 329 and Bus Route N29 from the direction of Wood Green will both need to be diverted right via North Circular Road (A406) Hedge Lane (A111) (Non  stop) right into Green Lanes (St Monica's Church).

Existing diversions of bus route 121 and w6 are unaffected

NOTICE FOR INFORMATION:(30th August)

Please be aware that on Wednesday 30th August Hedge Lane was CLOSED in both directions following a Road Traffic Collision (RTC) between the Hedge Lane (Firs Lane junction) and Hedge Lane (The Larches junction) . A crumpled private car is still in situ on Hedge Lane (South side). The closure was reported on the LBC Travel news at 06:00.

As a result (depending on timing) Bus Routes 329, N29 and W6 would have had to be diverted in both directions via Church Street B154 and Great Cambridge Road A10.
