Congratulations to staff and pupils at Bounds Green School who learned during half term that they have been presented with a TfL Silver Award for their school travel plans encouraging parents to walk or cycle with their children to school.
In addition, the school was named a Beacon School setting a standard for other schools to follow.

Presenting  the award Haringey Cllr Nilgun Canver said: "Bounds Green School is in a particularly busy location where road safety is paramount. This award is well deserved and sets a very high standard for other schools to follow."
