Could people walking along the stretch of the New River between Myddleton Road and  Whittington Road keep to the area near the River please?  Many people aren’t bothering with the steps and are walking close to the railings at the end of people’s gardens.  I am vulnerable but thought I could at least go into my garden but this afternoon a dog walker went along the other side of the railings.  I asked her politely to keep her distance and she snapped that we were a metre apart.  I did point out that it was supposed to be 2 metres.   The river bank is wide enough for people to be well away from gardens.  Please show some consideration.
