Make that a 9pm start pretty much every Friday (until about 11:30) rather than the 8pm mentioned in a posting. The bar will be open before 9 but not that long before 9! work on about a fiver as being reasonable in the hat, unless you really don't like it that is. Trade off is a cheap bar as well as invariably good musicians. Join the weekly mailing list via www.thevintage.org.uk to know who is performing and for details of the occasional special, Sunday Evening "unplugged", or awareness of the very few Fridays (usually school hols) when everyone takes a breather.
