Hi Derek,

I don't know about whether they'd be able to fit around the stairlift, but we recently had some carpets fitted by the exceptionally helpful Central Carpets in Finchley Central. It's a family firm -and they were very reasonably priced, and even came over with carpet samples so we didn't need to travel to the shop.  They did an excellent job on my parents-in-law's stairs.
