Readers of The Sun will have seen the story by Will Payne..... published on 1st September, but for those who want themselves or their children to be the envy of their friends and having a day out this weekend on 5th/6th September why not visit the site of the filming of the opening sequence of "Strictly"

In real life Jive Junction is the Epping Ongar station at North Weald. Tickets are bookable on lineand are valid for unlimited travel on the trains and buses, ALL day long.

Toilets Ladies and Gentlemen's toilets are available at both Ongar and North Weald stations. Baby changing equipment is included within the Family Room / Ladies Waiting Room facilities at both stations. Disabled toilets are available in Ongar High Street (400 yards from station). Unfortunately, while we have enabled step-free access to Ongar building, the Grade II listed 1865 station does not accommodate a wheelchair accessible toilet.
