Strike affecting the Central and Waterloo & City lines all day Friday 22 August

If strike action by Train Operator members of ASLEF takes place both lines will be severely affected. Parts or all of the Central line may be suspended, and if trains do run they will be at a reduced frequency. The Waterloo & City line will also be affected, and may be suspended. Please seek alternative routes. NB: No Central line services will run in Central London, so there will be no interchange with the Central line at Holborn or Oxford Circus.

All other Tube lines, the DLR, London Overground and National Rail will operate normally. These services are likely to be busier than usual and journeys made outside peak hours are likely to be easier. Extra buses will run on key routes near the Central line.
