A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
You may have seen there are lots of swifts swirling around Myddleton Road.
If you can accommodate a nestbox for these beautiful birds, there's information about how to do so on the swift conservation and RSPB websites:

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who has used swift mapper to record our local population of swifts! 58% of the UK
swift population has disappeared in the last 25 years according to the Wildlife Trusts, so it's great to see people appreciating these birds, and supporting them to nest locally. Don't forget one of the most important things you can do to help swifts is to help insects thrive in your garden, if you have one, and by encouraging the council to let things go a little wild :)
