The leaves are coming off the trees, and so are thousands of sycamore seeds, each one of which could grow to an 80-100' tree with a 10' diameter trunk. If they are too close to houses, the roots can cause damage. Be alert, pick them up now, or at least look out for seedlings in the spring - they become difficult to uproot quite quickly.
