Here's a really smart idea from the Queen of Markets blog:

Tottenham has several artisan food and drink companies and in a flash of brilliance Cheryl Cohen has suggested celebrating local food by combining the produce of Wildes Cheese with bread from Tottenham High Road's Flourish Bakery ... all washed down with a glass (or two) of ale from the Redemption Brewery.

On September 8th the Tottenham Ploughmans picnic will take place at Downhill’s Park café.

A great opportunity to celebrate some of the wonderful things about Tottenham!

I love a proper Ploughman's, me.

A fabulous idea, as a cheese, bread and beer lover and a local to boot, I will most definitely be there

The Tottenham Ploughmans event last weekend was great fun - a lovely post on organiser Cheryl Cohen's Queen of Markets blog spells out just what a great event it was - and outlines plans to do it again!
