Hi Bowes and Bounders,

There is a Syrian aid convoy planning to leave from London early next week. They are trying to collect as much as possible, especially (though not restricted to) the following: baby milk powder, nappies, blankets, sleeping bags, medical aid, tin food, sanitary towels and money donations. They have said that they do not want clothes as they have plenty.

Remember that winter is coming and for many it will be another unbearable few months in the refugee camps, while for many others it will be the first winter away from their towns, cities and the warmth of their homes, no doubt to be in utter shock at the hostility of the winter desert.

There is a collection point at my house in Wood Green if anyone has anything to donate that they can drop off by Sunday 6 October.

Please call me on 07984 136 961 for more info or alternatively call one of the organisers, Mohammed, on 07507 573736 .

Please share and let others know.

Many thanks,

Sureka x
