Volunteers needed for Artful Codgers art and chat group

Alice from the Haringey Reach and Connect programme is looking for two volunteers to help with this new group for Haringey residents over 50 in Bounds Green.  It's a space for people to recharge, relax, scribble, splatter and smudge in the company of others.  Launched in January for an initial run of eight sessions, we aim for it to become an ongoing event - but we need regular volunteers to make that happen!

Activity: Helping group members with their art projects and goals, setting up the room, helping with refreshments and clearing up at the end.

Skills needed: Some artistic ability is useful, but mainly just being friendly and helpful.  Able to lift and set up chairs and tables.  The ability to encourage and focus the group to become self-sustaining would be beneficial.

Training provided. DBS check required (at no cost to the volunteer).
