A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
This site has been a strong supporter of our terrific local independent traders, not least through organising CashMobs in September and December last year, so I was delighted to see that Hornsey and Wood Green MP Lynne Featherstone has launched a competition for local people to identify their favourite Independent shop within her Parliamentary constituency.
There are three categories:
By placing your votes in each category, you will not only be supporting our local shops, you will also be entered into a prize-draw with the opportunity to win a £100 voucher to spend in one of your chosen shops. The winning shops in each category will then become Hornsey and Wood Green’s Independent Retailers of the Year.
You can cast your vote at the website of Local MP Lynne Featherstone
Let us know with a comment below who you have voted for.

I've bigged up the Big Green Bookshop. Bit disappointed that the competition appears to be an attempt for Lynne to expand her email subscribers list. Note, you can unsubscribe once you've voted by emailing lynne@lynnefeatherstone.org. See here.
