The Little Free Library on the corner of Warwick Road and Tewkesbury Terrace is proving very popular, but we're struggling to keep up a steady supply of children's books - as soon as anything comes in it's gone. There are a lot of kids who pass by on their way to the local schools, and it would be great to have more to offer them.

So if you have any spare or unwanted kids' books, please drop by and leave them in the library (and of course feel free help yourself to any of the books that are in there). If you have lots of kids' books that you can spare, then drop them off with us at 1 Warwick Road and we'll drip-feed them into the library.

Many thanks,

Josh

I wish I had seen this post before I dropped off quite a number of kids books in mint condition that my daughter wanted to share with others in the area.  I noticed that they had all gone pretty quickly and and had a happy glow thinking of how they would be enjoyed.  So  I was horrified when I came across a man i recognise locally, obviously thinking that he was not being observed, check the area and then grab handfuls of books to put in his trolley!  I would like to think that he was a heavy reader but the cynic in me thinks not.  What a shame - however we won't be put off and next time we have a number of books we will drop them off at the house - i think the little library is a lovely idea and I know that many people love it too.
