Yesterday "The Good City", the second in the excellent series of London Papers from Changing London was published.

Changing London is a blog set up as a platform to debate and develop bold, ambitious ideas for London’s next Mayor crowsourced from London’s citizens and friends.

This paper presents an aspirational vision of London "Where neighbourhoods thrive and everybody matters"  and sets out a challenge for London’s next Mayor:
We want to live in a place that we love and we want to be loved in the place where we live. A place where people are friendly and generous

it contains many innovotive ideas about how London's neighbourhoods could be improved and changed for the better.

Have a look - what do you think makes a neighbourhood a friendly and supportive place to live?

DISCLAIMER: I contributed a blog post to the Changing London project which, alongside several others is referenced in the production of these papers.
