Bowes Park Community Choir
The Bowes Park Community Choir is a friendly bunch of singers, led by the delightful and talented James Day, our musical director.
The choir was formed in 2010 and has about 50 regular members. New members are welcome - come along on a Thursday in term-time and see what we do. The choir meets at Bounds Green School Dining Hall, Bounds Green Road, N11 2QG.
It’s on the corner of Bounds Green Road and Park Road, very close to Bounds Green Tube Station. (click here for a map)
Limited parking is available in the staff car park accessed via Park Road N11. There is full disabled access.
Doors open at 7.00pm and we start promptly at 7.15 pm
Everyone is welcome to join us… young, youngish and not-so-young. Don’t be shy… there are no auditions, there’s no need to read music… just bring yourself and a bottle of water (it can be thirsty work!). Your first session is free!

Hi Sureka
Thanks for your interest in the choir, but sadly we don't have anything daytime or for children.
Thanks also for your kind offer of a discount for choir members on your Salsa classes. We don't have a members perks section on the choir website, but I will add your offer to the news page of the website.
All the best
Alison Miller
Hi,
I'd love to join the choir but it's difficult getting out in the evenings with a toddler... do you have any daytime sessions that little ones can attend too? I've heard great things about it!
Secondly, I run Salsa classes on Wednesday nights in Bounds Green and would love to offer your members a 20% discount off their first 4-week Salsa course!
Do you have a 'members perks' section on your website? And would this be of interest?
I look forward to hearing from you,
Thanks in advance,
Sureka x
Fantastic concert last week from our local choir who entertained over 200 people singing a wide range of songs at St Michaels Church Hall. One minute it was a Haitian Lullaby the next Mozart. Congratulations to all involved. There are now about 50 regular singers in this group and they continue to grow in numbers , confidence and musicality. Their musical director Patrick Allies was delighted that the weeks of hard work all come to fruition on the night.! The concert was in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust and over £700 was sent to this Charity which supports young people who have cancer both in and out of hospital.
The choir will be singing again at Bowes Park Community Festival in Finsbury Gardens on 13th July and again at Alexandra Palace Birthday Party on the stage by the pub at 4.0 on Sunday 21st July! Come and hear them and new members are always welcome. First session free!
