Hi, my indoor cat Lily went out today and can't find her...

I live in Maidstone Road near hair dresser.

She is a barman cat about 3kg blue point.

I don't know what to do now...

Hi Judith, that would be great. It's in the parade of shops between the bottom of Brownlow Road and Natal Road -so as you go down Brownlow Road, you turn left at the traffic lights and there it is - a few shops past David Baker the opticians. See you soon. X

Thanks Thuranie, I look forward to meeting you later in the Spring. The tabby I'm referring to certainly does have a history of breaking into other cats' houses to snaffle their food! And every single cat fight in the area of which I'm aware has always involved him....

Hi Vicky, sorry you can't make it tomorrow. Maybe next time. We'll try to meet after Easter. I wonder if the tabby is well fed on other cats' food? We used to have one coming through our cat flap, but he hasn't been seen for some months.

HI Thuranie,

I have a prior commitment tomorrow but would very much welcome the chance to meet with group members asap after this. It would be lovely to meet some fellow cat-lovers locally!

By the way, I wonder whether anyone can offer any information about a large, powerful, un-neutered tabby who has been at large in the Bounds Green Road/Passmore Gardens area for at least a couple of years? He has injured a number of local cats, including one of mine. He is very well-nourished and looks pretty clean, so if I had to bet I'd say he isn't a stray, but don't know this for sure....

Our next meeting will be this Thursday, 9 March, at 7.30, at Pizzeria Volare, which is on the North Circular between Brownlow and Natal Roads. It's a family run place with excellent food and a friendly atmosphere. Hope to see some of you there. If you're coming, could you please let me know, so that I can grab a large enough table.

Wishing all our members a rather belated Happy New Year, and hope you and your cats are keeping well. It's been a long winter - shall we welcome Spring with a meeting? Old and new members welcome. The date will be Thursday 9th March, venue to be confirmed. Can you please let me know if you are interested, and we can then decide on where. Mum's Bistro is always popular and we get a warm welcome there, or you may fancy a hange.
