My thanks again to the Club, and particularly Lucia, Thuranie and Junko, for your kindness while Puma was missing.  

I will keep my eye on the Comment Wall so that I can come along for that pre-Christmas drink! It would be lovely to meet you all.

Thanks Trish, it wwould certainly be lovely to see more of our members! Please let me know if any of you would like to come and which nights are best for you. We usually meet on a Thursday but can be flexible.

Hi Thuranie, yes, I'd be up for a pre Christmas meeting - it would be good if we could get some new members to come along as well. I'm away for a week shortly, and busy generally til end of November, but reasonably flexible early December.

After almost a week away, Puma returned home in the early hours of this morning - ravenously hungry, very nervous, but seemingly unhurt. We think he must have been 'living rough'. Our theory is that something scared him on 31st October - it may have been some fireworks, as people were letting them off close by here on Halloween - and that the very loud firework displays last night so frightened him that he was 'driven' to finding his way home from wherever it was he'd got to. We are so relieved, we haven't got the words to express it.

My sincere thanks to all who have taken an interest, particularly Lucia, Kathie, Junko and Thuranie. I really do appreciate the lovely people at the Cat Club. Your support has meant a great deal and will not be forgotten.

No new black cats down our end of Bowes, but I will keep an eye open.  Hope Puma comes home soon!

Vicky, my partner saw and met a black cat like your picture 3 days ago in my garden. my place in in maidstone road. I will keep eye on from now on.
