I'm thinking of creating a Facebook page for our cat club. Does anyone have any good photos of their cats that I can add plus anything that you want to say about your cat......?Continue

Lucia, if this is a false alarm I will still be immensely grateful for you for taking an interest. It is only if people contact me that I will find Puma, and it is to be expected that there are false alarms on the way. The important thing is that people let me know if they see a possible Puma.

Thank you so much. Please do take that picture if you see him, and I will still pop over to Queen's Road daily/nightly to see if I come across Puma!

Lucia - I have just gone to Queen's Road and made a preliminary search. A lady resident told me that there is a black cat who lives in a house  on or near the junction with Herbert Road and sits on the wall/in the front garden regularly, particularly at night. My heart dropped a bit, but I am hoping of course that the cat you have seen is Puma!

Obviously Queen's Road is longish and curvy - it was silly of me not to ask you if you could pinpoint whereabouts along the road that you have seen the 'new' cat. If you could let me know this, that would be great. I shall be returning to Queen's Road regularly to look for Puma, and of course I would really appreciate it if you will keep looking out for him too.

I have had another possible sighting resulting from our Missing posters - a 'new' black cat behind flats on the north side of Bounds Green Road - I have just been there too, and the gentleman who tipped me off is going to call me when he sees the cat again. I am hoping and praying that the publicity results in finding Puma soon.

Thank you very, very much Lucia.

Thank you Kathie for your lovely message. I am 'on' Animal Rescue and the other major engines including CatChat - and have registered his details with Battersea, etc. Your kindness is much appreciated, and makes us feel less alone.
A big thank-you you everyone who is trying to help! Please keep the information coming!

Would suggest also posting on Animal Rescue - free emails to willing participants in the area - the more publicity the better! I'm guessing you have already asked local vets, Cats Protection, RSPCA etc. My heart goes out to you, let's hope Puma is home soon.

... And I will be visiting Queen's Road right now, and will keep coming along till I see the 'new' cat, so please be assured that I'm making an effort!

Thank you so much! Please do keep an eye out - if you could possibly snap the cat on your mobile and load it here, that would be fantastic!

Really appreciated, Lucia.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the club and don't know whether this is the right place to post a missing cat message!? - My black cat, Puma, is just under three years old, is completely black with delicate features and green eyes. He is usually a friendly boy and tends to 'squeak' rather than meow. He is neutered and microchipped. He went missing from the Passmore Gardens/Bounds Green Road area sometime on Monday 31st October - he's never been missing before for more than about 12 hours and I am beside myself with worry. My dad and I have put up posters in the Passmore Gardens/Woodfield Road area and have been asking people on Passmore Gardens/Gordon Road to check sheds, garages, anywhere a cat could be trapped or hiding.

Please could all members - whether in Bowes Park or Bounds Green - check sheds, garages, greenhouses, hiding places, etc. and generally keep a lookout for Puma (image attached)? And please could you ask neighbours to do the same, and generally alert people to this?

If anyone sees a black cat looking disorientated in any way, or finds that a 'stray' or hitherto unknown cat of this description is now in your area, please, please do contact me!!
Thank you so much.   Picture of Puma: IMAG0157%20%284%29.jpg
