This lovely image from 1903 depicts the south side of Myddleton Road (current no.s 119 to 133). It is one of the terrific early 2oth century images contained in a report commissioned from conservation architects Butler
Hegarty.

Used to live at number 10 in 1972 for one year.

Does anybody out there remember George the junk shop?

 We got most of our furniture there , some of which we still have nearly 40 years on. Tempus Fugit

My grand mothers era but I remember the shops still looking like this in mid 1950's  the post office, the dairy, oh great memories
