Back in the 1980s I bought an original collarless shirt in this shop.  I don't think I've seen the door open since!  Is it still a business?

Hi Michael

It's not been run as a business for 13 years - Brian Moore (son of George Moore whose name is over the door) tells the story of the shop in this audio interview recorded as part of the My Bowes Park intergenerational history project.

Why has this high street been left to rot? It's still got plenty of character with the original shop fronts, it could be a lovely shopping parade of independant shops & cafes, give Crouch End & Muswell Hill a bit of competition!
